Below, the bromedit F.A.Q

Question Answer
Where I can download the Bromedit? Unfortunately the bromedit that comes with the last version of browedit 2 is bugged (it’s unable to save files). Until the creator (Borf) fix the bug, please, use the bromedit from Mina-chan's One Drive. You can check the link for her One Drive here.
What is the texture format that bromedit accepts? For now, bromedit accepts only two types of files: BMP, TGA and JPG (water).

Question Answer
Where I can download the Browedit 1 and Browedit 2? You can download both Browedit 1 and Browedit 2 from Browedit's Official Website or Github. You can check both the links here.
Which version of the browedit should I use?
It's up to you, actually. You can use either Browedit 1 (620 or 586) or Browedit 2. If you don't know which one to use, see the small explanation below:

Browedit 2: use this version for editing extras only, like: sky lightmap (shadow map), colouring (ground) and natural elevations / natural looking heights-elevations-slopes. Also, sometimes saving with browedit 2 can fix/save your map when something is bugged when using browedit 1. But keep in mind that doings stuff such as adding/removing models or walls may break your map or make it difficult to open it in browedit 1, so please use carefully or make backup before using browedit 2;
Browedit 1 (620): use this version for editing the maps in general;
Browedit 1 (586): use this version for the final save of your map.

Attention¹: keep in mind that you must do the final save using the 586.
Attention²: when working with Browedit 2, don't forget to have a backup of your map, since this version, right now, is not stable.
What is the maximum map size that I can make using browedit without having bugs or crashs? The max size is 256x256, but it's recommended to make a map using 200x200 or lower.
What is the maximum size of the GRF that I can use without having problems? Your GRF must have a maximum of 2GB space. If your GRF have more than 2GB, then your browedit can cause some problems, like the following: click here (imgur)
Can I add or remove models using Browedit 2?
Yes, you can add or delete models using Browedit 2 but it's not recommended. The reason is because at some point, after a certain numbers of models, you will not be able to open the map anymore in Browedit 1 (586 or 620) and it's a must to do the final saving using the Browedit 586.
I used Browedit 2 to do models edition (added or deleted) and now I can't open the map in Browedit 1 (586) to do the final saving. What should I do now? If by chance you don't remember how many models you added or deleted while using Browedit 2, you're going to have to try, adding or removing the same number of models, until the last number of models that was present in the last browedit 1's save is present in the map again.
Is it possible to replicate exactly the same lightmap from Ragnarok Online (Gravity) with BrowEdit? Ragnarok Online (Gravity) lightmap works differently from the one made by BrowEdit and because that, unfortunately you can't replicate Gravity's lightmap.
What is quadtree in Browedit?
Quadtree is what determines the height and location of models and ground height. In other words, you can consider that quadtree is a technique RO uses to efficiently search which models are visible with any camera angle.

Also, it's important to note that if you want to save an official Ragnarok Online Map and avoid black squares or disappearing models, you have to increase the water's height. This is needed, because browedit 586 can save the quadtree, but if something is below 0 (positive numbers is below zero) such as water, ground height or a model's box, a black square will appear in-game. Also, it's important to note that quadtree can't be saved properly with anything having a height below 0.
I just saw a map with a quadtree section that extends infinitely. What now? In this case, there isn't much you can do. You will need to copy the map and paste it into another one that isn't bugged.
Is there a way to make a map from zero without having quadtree issues? It's recommended (but not mandatory) to make a map as a rectangle, then add -100 to the water propertys since the beginning of the map creation. Doing so, the probability of you having issues with quadtree is very minimal.
What number should I use for water property? For safety reasons, it's recommended to use -100 for the water. But, depending of the situation and type of map, you may need to use a higher value (-120 or more).
What is RSM2? Can Browedit read RSM2 files? RSM2 is a new file format that is being used in the recent Ragnarok Online Episodes, replacing the RSM files. If you want to learn more about RSM2 files, check this tutorial.

Also, it's important to note that, unfortunately, browedit can't read RSM2 files and yes only RSM files.
In which Episode starts to appear RSM2 files? The RSM2 files starts to appear on Episode 17.2. Keep in mind that, while in Episode 17.2 you still have some RSM files, after this episodes you will see only RSM2 files.
Can I convert RSM2 files into RSM files? Yes, you can convert RSM2 into RSM. To do that, follow this tutorial.
What should I know about the height for the maps? Keep in mind that the height of the map should be above 0 for the minimum height of the lowest model or even for the lowest quadtree (negative numbers is above, so maybe -20 ~ -100)
